Is your child a
visual-spatial learner?

Find Out!

Are you a visual-spatial learner?

Take the test!

"I give your book to all the parents
who bring their children to me. Parents
really appreciate reading about your personal
experience, and the wisdom contained in
your book inspires many of them to view
their sometimes difficult kids in a new,
refreshing and helpful way. Your
book has helped many of the parents I
work with to understand their kids in
a deeper way."

Do your children remember what they see but
forget what they hear?
Do they have vivid imaginations?
Can they visualize objects from multiple perspectives?
Do they enjoy solving puzzles and mazes?

If so, they are likely visual-spatial learners!

These are children who would rather spend the day with a new box of LEGOs than do nearly
anything else in the world. Kids who can get so absorbed in creative
play, they lose all sense of time.

Often labeled unorganized, unfocused, poor spellers or worse, visual-spatial learners
can be equal parts pleasure and frustration to parent. Raising Topsy-Turvy Kids includes
stories from families across the country, anecdotes about identifying, nurturing,
parenting and teaching these remarkable children. Children who share a state of being
utterly unpredictable, totally out-of-sync with their age peers, blissfully unaware of time ...topsy-turvy!

It's Here !
" If You Could See the Way I Think: A Handbook for Visual-Spatial Kids"

If You Could See the Way I Think is aimed at visual-spatial students. It offers proven techniques
for success in areas that these children, regardless of intellectual ability, often struggle in:
spelling, memorizing times tables, handwriting, taking timed tests, getting and staying organized, taking notes,
focusing during auditory lectures, self-advocacy and sleep issues. The book is a celebration of the gifts of
this learning style, despite what grades many of these children earn in a traditional classroom.
The 21 st century will demand the skills set these students were born with: multi-dimensional imagery,
facility with computers, and an innate ability to “think outside the box.”

Here’s what one attendee wrote Allie after her children’s workshop in Melbourne:

Dear Allie,

The things I learnt at your presentation I did not know before. It helped me understand why
I’m bad at maths. It made me feel special. Thank you for helping me realize who I truly am.

From Callum
